The Ivory Room, a prestigious event venue managed by Cameron Mitchell Premier Events (CMPE), was experiencing declining bookings due to road construction disrupting access at its Miranova Place location. Our team was tasked to find a property with the same high level of prestige and the capacity to host larger events to meet the growing demands of CMPE’s clientele.

The Search:


After several months of exploring options, the team identified an opportunity at the Municipal Light Plant, a historic venue located in the Arena District. The existing operator struggled to maintain the space, presenting a prime opportunity for CMPE to step in and take over.

The Outcome:


In just 45 days, Passov Group successfully negotiated a deal with the property developer, securing the Municipal Light Plant for CMPE. This acquisition enabled CMPE to expand its portfolio and solidify its standing as a premier event venue operator, ensuring continued growth and maintaining its reputation for excellence.
